Now that we know a place to go and have our hair looking amazing, it’s time for make-up and tanning! Finding a good make-up artist is extremely difficult. It always seems as if they apply to much make-up or not enough, so you basically end up looking dead or like a prostitute. I have had my make-up done hundreds of times and can guarantee the people I offer will leave you looking breathtaking. As for tanning, most salons offer the same type of beds, but who wants to go an entire week to get color. Spray tanning is a hot trend among celebrities and has no dangerous health effects.
Make-up can completely define who you are and how you feel about yourself so choosing make-up artists who enhance natural beauty is the best way to be left completely satisfied.

Heidi Denha specializes in eyebrow arching and makeup for shoots, bridal, and nights out. She started with 6 in 2000 and has worked for MAC cosmetics and Estee Lauder. She has been featured on theknot.com and Metro Detroit Bride as well as in many fashion shows. What makes Heidi unique from other makeup artists is that she designs and markets her own makeup line “Heidi D” which can be purchased at 6 Salon and several other locations. I use her makeup everyday. Her foundation is very light with great coverage and her lip gloss “tipsy” is a light pinkish orange that looks gorgeous on every lip. Heidi can be booked at both 6 Salon locations, Birmingham and Royal Oak.

Sonya Jina
Sonya Jina who also works at 6 is equally as talented. She specializes in eyebrow shaping, make-up application and applying individual lashes. She also offers private makeup lessons as well as skin consultations. She has been in the makeup industry since 1998 and a licensed Esthetician since 2000. Her clientele is manly weddings(including numerous destination weddings), photo shoots, fashion shows, and various special occasions. Sonya can be booked at 6 Salon’s Birmingham location.

Elia Lizcano
Elia Lizcano is one of my favorite make-up artists. She is self employed right now but is always willing to come out to location. She has done numerous weddings, photo shoots and special occasions. Anytime I need my make-up done I am sure to ask her first.
